“Connecting with Learners Through Social Media” @ FLICC conference today

I am presenting "Connecting with Learners Through Social Media" @ FLICC conference today. Attendees of this session will learn the pros and cons of many popular social media services, industry trends, how they compare, and how to utilize them to publish to and connect with learners and customers. Because we all seek to work smarter, not harder, we will also look at some ways to connect the “dots” between these services, streamline publishing and syndication, and contribute to the global discussion more efficiently. This presentation will include an energetic topic presentation, demonstrations, and a guided discussion on the instructional applications of and addressing higher education communication and marketing needs through social media solutions. Attendees may also contribute their ideas and best practices to the development of a social networking mind map which will be available for download following the session(s). Click here for the presentation mindmap file. You will need Freemind software to open it.

League For Innovation CIT 2008 Conference Update

League CIT conference attendees, I have received so many great emails from you all since the conference in Salt Lake City. I thank you all for your great feedback and support. It was my pleasure to present and meet so many innovative people. Leaving conference life (semi-reality) and coming back to work life (actual-reality), I feel like I went out of the pan and into the fryer quickly this week with trying to catch-up on the normal back-log of things to be done. I have not gotten everything posted for you, however, I have not forgotten about you at all and will have updated presentation files and mindmaps posted to the "files" area of my web site and blog shortly. Keep the emails coming as I love connecting with you! Adam Books

Adam’s blog update: The comments feature has been enabled

Unfortunately, I had to disable the comments feature for a while due to an influx of spammage on Live. I think that we now have everything under control and the comments tool has been enabled again. So, blog readers, please feel free to contribute to posted topics. Adam
